Teemcorp is looking for General Accountant with Australian Tax experience for an accounting firm.
Our Client is a modern, proactive CPA firm based in Western Australia. The successful candidate will work closely with a Client Portfolio Manager in Australia, and part of a team in Manila to service clients of the accounting firm.
Candidates will be self-motivated and able to operate independently as well as part of a team. Apart from Australian tax experience, a strong analytical mind and excellent English is essential.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting/Commerce or similar
CPA qualified Accountant but not a must
Minimum 1 year experience in Australian Tax Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook and etc)
Willing to work onsite in Makati Office - Dayshift
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing, reviewing and analysing Australian Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Asset Register using respective clients accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, companies and SMSF clients in accordance with ATO guidelines
Preparing monthly and quarterly Activity Statements for clients in accordance with ATO guidelines
Completing and collating of all necessary workpapers and checklists in accordance with accounting firm requirements
Conducting tax planning and preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts
Researching various taxation and corporation matters as required
Supporting and assisting team members with client queries
Providing feedback to the client's Portfolio Manager regarding any issues, improvements or opportunities to offer the client additional services
