We are currently seeking high-potential payroll practitioners to deliver exceptional client service and enable the continued growth of Payroll Operate Services practice. Your key responsibilities
This role is all about performing the end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients including year-end. You will most likely maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes according to your designated supporting country. You'll also need to analyse payroll information to answer questions and requests. We'll look to you for upholding employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Skills and attributes for success
Maintaining payroll information by collecting and entering/uploading data
Updating payroll records by entering changes in components (e.g. but not limited exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles and department/division transfers)
Preparing/extracting payroll reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages
Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and other statutory payments as required
Resolving payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information.
Adhoc reporting and other duties as required
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor's degree holder, preferably business/accounting degree
1 - 2 years of experience of full end-to-end payroll processing experience across Oceania and ASEAN countries (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia)
Experience in handling 2 or more country-specific clients
Ideally, you'll also have
Payroll related diploma/certificate will be advantageous, but not necessary
Previous payroll experience in high volume, full function payroll
Experience using large ERP system will be advantageous but not essential
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
