Description:
Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:
1) Performs functional testing on existing and new software applications to ensure that programs satisfy all specifications and requirements based on acceptance criteria set during sprint planning. Identify any issues/bugs/errors
2) Create and provide test scenario, test cases and test data. Records all defect details and create report outlining the types of defects found and steps taken to resolve the issue.
3) Maintain close coordination with the BA and Developers. They work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks and resolve issues.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Deployed software version is bug free
2. All test cases and scenarios meet acceptance criteria
3. Provides test artifacts
4. Software projects are delivered on time while satisfying business requirements and strategies.
Requirements:
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Atleast 2 years' experience within the role
2. Bachelor's degree of any IT related course
3. Understands the execution of functional testing
4. Detailed oriented
5. Knowledge and familiarity of test artifacts
6. Ability to recognize risks and potential errors
7. Ability to distinguish issues from bugs
8. Basic understanding of programming
9. Familiarity with defect management tool such as Jira
10. Has experience in working in an Agile environment
11. Familiarity of scrum framework is a plus.
Salary: ₱30000 - ₱40000
