Job Description
Perform regular SEO audits to identify site issues and recommend fixes
Prepare weekly/monthly reports about digital marketing performance
Monitor keyword rankings on a regular basis
Perform competitor analysis and research to formulate SEO strategy and gain more organic traffic
Make on-page updates in Wordpress to resolve SEO errors and make improvements (meta tags, alt tags, H tags, body content formatting, etc)
Coordinate with business development team and company management for execution/implementation of digital marketing strategies
Create ticket-based tasks for web developer and designer to implement advanced coding/design changes on the website
Execute internal linking strategies on the site using SEO best practices
Perform keyword mapping for new and existing pages as necessary
Perform ongoing keyword research to uncover blog topics; coordinate with management for production, conceptualization and scheduling of new content
Upload new content on the site for static pages and blogs as needed
Detect keyword cannibalization on the site and resolve as needed
Investigate Google index (via GSC and query string) and look for 404s, bad 301, bad pages that need to be redirected, noindex, etc
Perform regular site speed checks
Share new content on Facebook, Google My Business, Linkedin and other social media properties
Perform link prospecting on a regular basis
Perform toxic backlink audits
Keep up-to-date about the SEO industry and recommend/implement white-hat link building strategies
Perform link building outreach, guest posting, and local citations
Setup Google Ads campaigns and perform ongoing optimisations
Assist in preparation, scheduling, and launching of email direct campaigns
Qualifications
Preferably with at least three (3) years experience in a senior SEO role
Must have full-stack knowledge of SEO - both onpage and offpage.
Must have basic to intermediate HTML and CSS coding skills.
Must have experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager. Experience with Hubspot and Diib a plus.
Must be a self-starter, proactive, and able to work independently.
Google and Hubspot certifications are a major plus.
This role directly reports to management, hence the ideal candidate should have articulate verbal and written English communication skills.
The ideal candidate would also act as an SEO consultant to the firm, not waiting to be assigned specific tasks, but providing his/her expertise and hands-on skills on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate should be able to CREATE high-impact SEO tasks that would benefit the organization as a whole.
Working Set-up:
Monday to Friday (Flexible hours)
Hybrid Set-up (At least 10 days onsite)
