My Cloud Crew is an Australian boutique cloud staffing firm founded in 2017. Work remotely while travelling or from the comforts of your home office. We hire seriously talented work-from-home Filipino staff to work with our Australian and US clients.
We are looking for a talented Web Developer working with a close-knit team where they support and encourage the use of new technology whilst also having the autonomy to suggest what technologies should be used on projects.
Responsibilities:
-Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
-Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
-Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
-Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
-Create and maintain software documentation
-Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling client sites
-Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
-Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Requirements
-Working PC with minimum RAM of 6GB
-Minimum 16 inch monitor
-Suitable home-office environment
-Can comprehend English and can communicate in English
-Minimum 4 years experience in development & design
-Front end and back-end development experience
-Proven working experience in web programming
-Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML5 and CSS 3
-Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
-Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS and React would be advantageous
--5+ years commercial experience in frontend development
-Extensive experience working with large scale public-facing website
-Experience working with style guide
-Experience working with accessible websites
-Experience working with Content Management Systems
-Advance understanding of CSS pre- process platforms like LESS and SASS
-Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Python, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
-A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
-Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
-Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
-Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
-Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
-Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
-Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
-BS in computer science or a related field
