The Build Manila team plays a vital part in the wider Global Delivery team and the company is looking for people who are ambitious and driven, who can lead from the front and deliver on objectives.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will have the chance to customize and develop new projects by working in multiple digital offerings. The projects will be delivered as agile and as part of the team, you need to be of an open and proactive mindset.
Your mission
Working within an Agile and collaborative environment with Business users and other technology partners.
Application Development (APIs and front-end)
Contribute to Dev Ops, Test Automation and automated build and deployments.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Document the code developed
Ensure code adheres to security standards
Qualifications
What you need
At least 5 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS/Sass, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Java 8 or higher, C#) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, Node.js, React)
Basic knowledge of shell scripting (e.g. bash scripting)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g. Apache)
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Great attention to detail
Basic Organizational skills
Problem solving and Analytical mindset
You will get extra points for the following:
Familiar with cloud native development (preferably OpenShift/Kubernetes)
Familiar with CICD Platforms (e.g. Jenkins, Travis) and Ansible
