Purpose of Position
Umbrellar's new Cloud business line has been purpose-built over the past year, from the ground up, to deliver the next
generation of Cloud Services to New Zealand businesses and empower our customers by enabling technology adoption and
digital transformation. We do this through a brand-new core business platform, a self-service and self-consume customer web
portal, and dedicated teams to educate, consult, implement and manage throughout the customer relationship.

The Role
Our new Full Stack Developer role has been established at the Cloud Product Team, with the goal to build and support our
platforms, systems and solutions as well as improve the quality of products we deliver to customers. The role main focus will be
on the backend but as a Full Stack Developer, you will play a big role in frontend development and maintenance as well.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs;
Testing and evaluating new programs;
Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications;
Writing and implementing efficient code;
Determining operational practicality;
Developing quality assurance procedures;
Deploying software tools, processes and metrics;
Maintaining and upgrading existing systems;
Training users;
Documentation of code and systems
Working closely with other developers, UX designers, engineers, business and systems analysts;
Other duties as required to meet business needs.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities: * Supporting the development cycle of usage mediation and billing system;
Supporting the development cycle of billing automation (Tag billing), project management billing automation (TaskRay
billing) and Zuora billing system; * Working with Cloud Operations Team on Azure Cost Management, Azure Lighthouse and Cost Analytics;
Support Microsoft Pricing updates, Price Building Tools and Billing System Product Catalogue updates.
Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Experience working with and designing RESTful APIs.
Experience with unit testing & integration testing principles.
Strong knowledge of browser rendering behaviour and performance.
Experience working with GraphQL;
Practical knowledge of design patterns and principles of clean code;
Preferred Knowledge of / Experience in the following: * Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of AntDesign.
Experience working with Azure DevOps/Jira.
Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack.
An understanding Agile methodology and DevOps practice.
A strong GitHub profile with Open Source contributions will be highly desirable.
A commitment to modern test-driven development principles.
Experience with UX design and/or A/B testing.
Expertise, and commitment to, mobile-first and responsive development.
Understanding of systems integration approach.
Understanding of micro-services architecture.
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
