The Angkas Engineering team provides beautiful UI & highly available infrastructure for all processes across all Angkas services. All this is built on top of mostly Kubernetes clusters across all public and private clouds, as well as on premises. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your skills to develop robust and scalable software. What you will be doing in this role:
You will build the UIs that allow all Angkas users to interact. These UIs range from user screens, worksheets, dashboards, graph visualizations, modelling tools,widgets, plugins.
Developing new user facing features based on requirements
Introduction to highly scalable backend & Infrastructure
Some backend, infra or database knowledge is a plus
Participating in brainstorming and refining features requirements with PMs and other stakeholders
Improving and refactoring our current codebases
Figuring out solutions for tech challenges we face
Evaluating new technologies for the platform
Requirements
Proficient in English and great oral communication
Work with Modern tools, the latest versions of, Vue.js/Nuxt, React.js/Next.JS, Svelte/SvelteKit, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS , etc. to build the experiences our users love. Knowledge of some of the following:
Part of every great engineering team, with a great CI / CD pipeline. As part of the team you help constantly improve every part of the development process, from testing to deployment. We make heavy use of feature flags, preview deployments, and observability to confidently release to production multiple times a day
like mixing it up, we've got backend services written in Go/java running on a variety of cloud providers
Decent understanding of User Experience
Functional understanding of Git & GitHub
Proficient in Figma, Sketch, InVision a plus
Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive, hard-working and committed team player
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Fast learner who enjoys coding and working with the latest tech
