About the Role
As a Frontend eCommerce Developer, you will be responsible for creating amazing user experiences and high-quality code by working with experienced and passionate backend developers, designers, and digital producers. You will be working on retainer types of websites instead of building websites from scratch and you are expected to have at least five billable hours daily and create documentation for the QA Team. Working with your project manager, you will be spearheading new website development on the ReactJS and Shopify platforms while collaborating with the development team to innovate and discover new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Refer to Figma UI designs and develop them into elegant front-end mechanics.
Create integrated Shopify theme code using Liquid markup.
Strong focus on performance and meeting Google Lighthouse metrics.
Maintain and develop Shopify store front-end mechanics.
Troubleshoot Shopify store issues.
Integrate Shopify apps from the App Store.
Create lightweight and robust checkout scripts for Shopify plus stores using Ruby.
Advise the architecture of new features to be developed for client stores.
Develop the front end for Shopify apps and integrate them with third-party APIs.
Contribute to the development of internal tools, frameworks, and libraries.
Create proper documentation containing instructions and limitations to be sent to QA for testing.
Contribute to the improvement of internal processes.
