This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic technology team delivering solutions for Commodities & Global Markets applications in Macquarie.
In this role, you will be a valued member of a DevOps, Agile delivery team with a focus on building aesthetic, functional, and user-centric User Interfaces with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization.
You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to our thriving ecosystem using modern approaches and technologies in Web/Mobile and Micro Frontends and have an opportunity to learn Event-Driven Microservices, System Integration, AI/Machine Learning, Event Streaming, Stream Processing, Real Time Analytics, Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud native services.
As a Front-end Developer, your key responsibilities will include:
Use wireframes and prototypes to create blueprints for what an app will look like.
Create layouts, interactive features and other design ideas using the front-end programming languages listed in the qualifications below.
Collaborate with the users and engineering team to ensure that the interaction, visual and accessibility designs are implemented according to design intent.
Help develop the best practices and engineer the frontend Angular implementation.
You will be passionate about technology and bring the following experience and qualifications:
3+ years' experience building high quality user experiences end to end and highly proficient in Javascript ES6.
Proficient in Angular, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
Strong understanding and application of object-oriented principles and good grasp of UI/ UX Core principles.
Experience in API Integration, RxJS and Reactive Forms.
Strong knowledge of front-end fundamentals, best practices and security standards.
Extensive experience with cross-browser compatibility.
