Job Title: Front Office Associate
Department: Front Office
Reports To: Front Office Supervisor / Front Office Manager
 
Job Summary:
The Front Office Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and ensures a positive and welcoming experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails related to reservations and guest inquiries.
Process payments accurately and maintain cash drawer integrity.
Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
Follow safety and security procedures, including data privacy and guest confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a Hospitality or Tourism-related course is preferred.
At least 1 year of front desk or customer service experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and hotel PMS (Property Management System) software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
