Job Description
You will be working as a front-end developer on medium to large website edit requests and projects. You will work together with a squad consisting of project managers, copywriters, designers, and other developers in our Website Support division.
Necessary Requirements
WordPress & WooCommerce expertise - You should have at least an intermediate understanding and working knowledge of WordPress. This includes the ability to use HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP to implement visual and content elements of websites, to understand various page-layout and eCommerce plugins, and to add images, icons, and vectors that function on desktop- and mobile-friendly web pages.
Website/page-building skills - You should have experience with the page-building tool, Elementor, as well as Javascript & jQuery skills for building and updating pages in Wordpress CMS.
Technical collaboration mindset - You should be an inquisitive professional who likes to support their fellow developers by helping to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor challenges.
Creativity & confidence - You should be someone who has ideas about web development and process improvements, and be comfortable sharing and discussing them with your colleagues.
Qualifications
Required:
Deep WordPress experience & moderate Elementor experience
HTML5 & CSS3 plus familiarity with Javascript and jQuery
Interest in conducting research and learning new things to overcome challenges
Strong analytical thinking plus design and UX awareness
Algorithms & database knowledge
Customer-oriented, self-motivated, and positive thinking
Intermediate English-language skills
Preferred:
Independent experience building sites directly for clients (freelance or similar)
Understanding of basic WordPress theme development processes and post type structure
Experience with jQuery and PHP
Experience optimizing web pages and improving page speed

Additional Information
