Front Desk Receptionist
Job Description:
- Greet and attend to all incoming guests as they enter the clinic. All queries should be answered correctly. Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
- Answer all telephone calls and cellphone inquiries accurately
- Maintain a systematic schedule for appointments between doctors and patients. Should the need arise, call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services.
- Memorize schedules of Doctors, their specialties, and clinic hours
- Assist with the admissions and endorsement of patients to the nurses' station
- Secure accurate and complete documentation of patient visits
- Medical Records Handling
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of any Business or Hospitality related 4-year course
Must have relevant experience in customer service
At least 6-months experience as Front Desk Receptionist
Ability to handle difficult situations and diffuse potential problems.
Computer literate
Above average written and spoken English skills
Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD and CPT coding is highly preferred
Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From Php14,000.00 per month
