What's on the menu to do: * You will be empowered to support the category management team in foodpanda Philippines
The role requires to drive day to day operations for the Fresh & Frozen Portfolio at PandaMart including categories such as Fruits & Vegetables, Meat & Seafood, Dairy and Bakery.
Responsibilities include:
Category management
Develop category assortment based on consumer trends
Product and Quality management
Category Buyer and Inventory Controller
Develop buying strategies in line with business objectives towards category profitability.
Inventory management across all categories
In-Store product operations
Build and manage in-store product management practices & operational guidelines.
Category profitability & Growth: Plan & deliver on growth(Volume, Value) in alignment with Internal Category teams.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Liaise with key suppliers and vendors in commercial alignment towards category growth and mutual profitability.
Ensure active participation in all relevant events across platforms.
Work in close alignment with Business Finance to manage portfolio pricing & P&L.
Inventory Management: Work closely with category & sourcing teams to ensure stock availability.
Quality: Own the quality scores (Ratings, reviews & return). Work closely with dark stores to take regular feedback & improve scores.
What do you bring into the table?
Candidate with 2-4 years of experience in retail / category operations
Candidate with prior experience in managing fresh & frozen categories with sound industry knowledge.
The role will be heavy in operations / commercial / sales / category / product management - candidates who are highly interested in these fields would be preferred
Graduate degree in business management would be an advantage
Proficiency in using MS applications
