We are in search of a meticulous and results-oriented Food Safety Quality Assurance Specialist dedicated to upholding the highest standards of food safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent quality across all production processes and champion continuous enhancement in food safety management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, monitor, and sustain food safety and quality assurance programs (HACCP, GMP, SSOP, etc.)
Conduct regular audits and inspections of production lines and sanitation practices
Lead comprehensive investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances and customer complaints
Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory standards (FDA, DOH, BFAD, Halal, etc.) and internal policies
Coordinate product testing, shelf-life assessments, and packaging integrity evaluations
Educate production and quality personnel on food safety protocols and updates
Prepare and submit timely documentation for certifications and compliance reports
Qualifications:
College Graduate with a degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or any related Science Course
Minimum of 1 year of experience in food safety and quality assurance within the food canning manufacturing sector
Knowledge in meat processing, thermal processing, and freezing
Knowledge in sensory evaluation, shelf-life, and thermal processing is an advantage
Knowledge in meat processing, thermal processing, and freezing
Certification in food safety or quality assurance is advantageous
