Primary Functions
Holds and conducts baking demonstration to promote the use of SMMI flour and bakery ingredients to bakeries and other flour end-users
Conducts seminars and lectures on the proper baking procedures, bakery management and baking recipes using SMMI flour and bakery ingredients
Attends to and handles technical problems and complaints of SMMI flour users
Extends technical services/advice to bakeries and flour users on the development/ improvement of their bakery products
Conducts comparative baking tests of competitive brands based in established parameters; experiments and develops new and better recipes or formulations ; experiments and research to develop new and better baking technologies
Initiates requisitions of baking ingredients needed for baking demonstrations , bake tests and baking seminars
Ensures that all baking equipment and other materials are accounted and well-maintained; ensures cleanliness and orderliness of the baking area
Conducts end-user survey and submits report to Trade Marketing Assistant
Prepares and submits report on baking activities and accomplishments
Performs other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
Conducts internal training on flour applications for fellow FAS and other technical personnel; Include at least 2 trainings conducted for the year in their KPIs
Submission of survey to SSTD
