Accountable to support the category or regional procurement teams in the end-to-end purchasing process which covers requirement definition, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting, as well as all other relevant steps within the full process
Handle the fleet vehicles in an assigned region from vehicle request to delivery on-site
Management of idle assets and re-assigning them to new assignees when needed
Handle the Procure-to-Pay process for fleet vehicles with support from the Regional Buying team and Finance
Conduct sourcing activities with agreed vendors and negotiate to reach the best possible outcome for the company
Participate in the selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting with suppliers within the category
Implement risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk tools
Ensure relevant master data maintenance is carried out timely - secure that missing master data is enriched (fleet database, info records, source lists, quota arrangements, and vendor master)
Collation of documents such as Safety Data Sheets, CE declaration of conformity certificates, etc.
Bring continuous improvement programs both internally and at the suppliers with a special focus on cost-saving initiatives, supplier optimization and component standardization
Ensure adherence to KPIs set by your immediate regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation and sustainability
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics or related fields
At least 1 - 3 years of experience in Logistics or Express industries
Leadership abilities and be capable of working without supervision.
Strong adherence to safety policies and regulations.
Ability to understand complex processes and how they affect information systems.
Negotiation abilities, rigor, high integrity standards, resistance to stress and ability to anticipate and react quickly.
Fluent in MS Office
