As a Fire Protection Engineer you will develop and implement effective fire protection designs for compliance with fire codes, standards, client requirements and regulations, provide technical support/guidance to facility management and staff on all fire protection related issues, conduct facility evaluations for compliance with procedures and fire protection codes and standards, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions and provide the necessary technical support to resolve issues. Evaluate alternate means and methods for achieving code compliance, maintain a working knowledge and understanding of the National Fire Protection Association Codes, State and Municipality Codes and client specific requirements as required, perform code and life safety analysis and review.
Qualifications
You should have strong exposure in Power and Renewable Energy. A Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required. Experience in design engineering experience in "suppression, alarm, and detection systems". Fire Protection PE registration is preferred. Multi project execution skills.
