The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the accurate and efficient consolidation of financial data across our organization. The responsibilities will include managing the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful analysis. Lead the process enhancements, mentor the financial reporting team, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to maintain consistency in financial reporting.
Responsibilities: * Financial Statement Preparation:
Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure financial reports reflect the company's financial performance and position accurately.
Consolidation and Analysis:
Lead the consolidation process for group financial statements, providing detailed analysis and insights.
Collaborate with accounting teams to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across entities.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's adherence to statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
Financial Planning and Forecasting Support:
Collaborate with finance teams to contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Provide financial expertise to support strategic decision-making.
Process Enhancement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the financial reporting function, implementing efficiencies to enhance accuracy and streamline workflows.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor the financial reporting team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
Develop the team's skills through training and professional development initiatives.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate financial results and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather relevant financial information and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Risk Management:
Assess and manage financial risks, proposing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
Contribute recommendations for enhancing financial controls and risk management practices.
Ad Hoc Projects:

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience in financial reporting roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
