The FP&A Manager plays a critical role in helping organizations make informed financial decisions and achieve their strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities: Financial Planning: Develop and lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Collaborate with various departments to gather data and insights. Strategic Analysis: Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by senior management. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, variance analysis, and dashboards to communicate financial performance and trends to leadership. Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and work with department heads to optimize budget utilization. Forecasting: Create accurate and timely financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities and recommending actions to address them. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the financial impact of various scenarios, such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments. Data Management: Oversee data integrity and accuracy within financial systems and databases, ensuring reliable and consistent financial information. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and support for their professional development. Advisory Role: Serve as a strategic financial advisor to senior management, offering recommendations and insights to improve the company's financial performance. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, both internal and external. Qualifications: Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) may be preferred. Experience: 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, often with a progression from financial analyst roles to management positions. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and trends. Financial Software Proficiency: Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
