Job Description
Main Purpose:
In PH, the Record to Report (R2R) process is on a 3-tier model composing of the Country Team (MCO), Operating Center (OC) and Third-party service provider (3PSP). The role of the 3PSP is to process transactions in compliance with the Unilever Process Model (UPM) as translated into Desktop Procedures (DTP). The role of the OC is to manage and monitor the performance of 3PSP and to ensure compliance of all countries to the UPM. The MCO is responsible for ensuring compliance of R2R process in country to the Unilever controls framework, compliance to local tax and reporting rules, lead in-country change management for projects involving efficiency, simplification and step up in controls.
Key Accountabilities:
A. R2R Operations & Controls
Ensures compliance and timeliness of month-end closing and reporting process in the Country with the Unilever controls framework
Liaising with country, OC, and 3PSP teams to ensure a smooth and timely closing of Unilever books, and helping troubleshoot issues, if any
Responsible for other processes such as sundry invoicing, invoice cancelation, etc.
B. Credit Management
Responsible for managing credit risks of Unilever customers by ensuring the right credit limits are maintained and processes are compliant to Unilever controls framework
Works with Order to Cash OC and MCO teams for monthly controls governance
Responsible for projects and analytics to protect Unilever from credit risk, such as: customer credit risk scoring, bank guarantee coverage assessment, etc.
Requirements:
Graduate of any Business Course, with Finance and Accounting units
Experience in SAP an advantage
