Financial Modeling Specialist
Job Description
• Help build a data- analytics and modelling business
• Help build and review financial and operational models
• Be comfortable understanding and synthesizing data from a range of different sources
• Be comfortable summarizing data-led findings into power point documents to be communicated to managers and executives
• Help support the team in researching macro and micro level trends and generating useful insights from that research
• Work with other consultants and the client to use data, research and analytics to identify insights and make business improvements recommendations
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Economics or any related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in financial modeling
• Proficient in Excel
• Corporate Finance experie Willingness to attain Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst in own time
• Values the opportunity to receive on-the-job mentoring regarding financial modeling
• Be able to conduct research (industry analysis etc.)
• Be able to Build Powerpoint decks from Director notes and their own research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to attain Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst in own time
• Willingness to work in their own time towards achieving certifications in additional analytical tools such as PowerBI, various Excel add-ons, Tableau, Cliq, R, Azure, AWS, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Kubernetes, and various Python libraries as required for client engagements.
