Job Description :
Purpose of the Role:
To take responsibility for the day to day management for the respective Profit and Loss / Balance sheet/Cash Flow area:
Tax
GST reporting for Singapore market
Filing CIT for Supply tower
Filing of WTH for Supply tower
GST audits
Tax audits
Manage the Payments and Treasury process in the Singapore Office
Capitals
Payroll funding
Updating of bank signatories
Manage the Service Performance of shared service in Budapest and Manila (FC and STP workstreams) to ensure we fully leverage the relationship and ensure proper service level and continuous improvements
Decision support for business partners through value add analysis, thorough understanding of movements on accounts, the business reason behind those, and collection and presentation of Risk & Opportunities
Planning - Coordinate with markets, sense check and validate the bottom up results to the top down expectation
Prepare quality reconciliations through deep understanding of the figures supported, reported
Continuously monitor the respective P&L and BS and CF accounts for any inconsistencies (Budget preparation, variance analysis - YTD analysis)
To take responsibility for the day to day tasks required/ ad hoc
Prepare and post accruals/adjustments/other required journals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture
To ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with CARM processes
To maximize benefits of globalized system processes
To contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the processes.
Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes
Continuously maintains excellent personal and business relationship with the market and in house stakeholders
Qualifications
University / College degree in finance / accounting / business / CPA
Work experience
At least 4-5 years working experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
Proven track record in the area of Financial Accounting / Reporting, Taxation and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX is an advantage
Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage
Capable of working in a deadline driven environment.
Experience of working in a multi-national financial environment
