Job Description :
Purpose of the role:
Decision support for business partners through value add analysis, thorough understanding of movements on accounts, the business reason behind those, and collection and presentation of Risk & Opportunities
Planning - Coordinate with markets, sense check and validate the bottom up results to the top down expectation
Prepare OH and A&P performance report (analyze plan vs. actual)
Complete T&E analysis to the Leadership te
Validate the Salary costs with HR & Payroll team (including IA)
Collects inputs to R&O re OH and A&P
Continuously monitor the respective P&L and BS and CF accounts for any inconsistencies
Prepare and post accruals/adjustments/other required journals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture
Make sure Balance Sheet GL reconciliations are completed and reflected the changes in the business
To ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in lines with CARM process
To maximize benefits of globalized system processes
To contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the process.
Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes
Continuously maintains excellent personal and business relationship with the market and in house stakeholders
Qualifications:
University / College degree in finance / accounting / business/CPA
Work experience
At least 4-5 years working experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
Proven track record in the area of Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX is an advantage
Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage
Capable of working in a deadline driven environment.
Experience of working in a multi-national financial environment
Hard working personality, flexibility
Language skills
Fluent English, able to communicate effectively
Other languages within geographical area is a bonus
