The Financial Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, coordinating auditing process and ensuring organizational financial stability.
Main Responsibilities:
Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all units
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and treasury
Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records and reports for the executive management
Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
Manage commercial banking relationships to facilitate an appropriate credit resource under highly competitive terms
Interface with outside audit firms, banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), and collection agencies
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place
Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards and applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance / Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Business Administration / Finance is highly desirable
At least 10 years of solid working experience with progressive responsibility in finance and accounting and as a people manager
Required Skills: General Accounting, Corporate Finance, strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills, high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently as a leader and as a team member, must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgment
Able to travel within the Philippines whenever necessary
Able to be based in the Head Office, BGC, Taguig City
This is a probationary > permanent position.
