JOB DESCRIPTION:
Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational function
Coordinating & preparing internal and external financial statements
Coordinating activities of external auditors
Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
Participating in managing the budget process
Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning & compliance
Participating in maintaining and improving the company's financial standing by guiding financial policies, assessing risk, determining funding opportunities
Any other related jobs as may be assigned.
IDEAL PERSON:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
CPA is must (maintain a good membership with yearly CPD fulfillment)
Audit experience at 4 years
Has Bank experience in commercial loan department is preferred
Able to work in a fast paced environment, detail focus and hands on in preparing accounting information
