About Your Client:
Your client designs and builds houses that honor each homeowner's individuality, match their family's needs, and enhance the quality of their lives. Based in the Australian state of Victoria, they have been in business since 2009. They're committed to ensuring that each dream home they design, build, and deliver is truly unique.
What You Will Do:
Prepare financial reports.
Analyze financial data.
Monitor internal controls.
Oversee and prepare income statements.
Participate in budgeting processes.
Manage financial transactions.
Streamline accounting functions and operations.
Develop plans for financial growth.
Evaluate and manage risk.
Coordinate audit processes.
Prepare and review period end financial statements
Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and projections to effectively manage cash balances
Perform analytical reviews of the monthly operating results to ensure the reasonability and accuracy of reports
Direct the transactional processing of financial processes
Book required journal entries to post period activity such as Payroll, Work Comp (if reporting) and Inventory
Assist in the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts
Coordinate the preparation of audits and tax returns with outside CPA firm
Assist in maintaining all corporate records and accounts
Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience relevant to the role.
Not required by highly advantageous: Experience in using Xero and KeyPay software.
Experience in the construction industry is also an advantage.
