About The Role
Role Location: Solaris One Building, Makati
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Schedule: Dayshift schedules will be adhered to
As a Financial Control Associate, your role is responsible for preparation, review, and delivery of Regulatory returns. The role will also play as a key point of contact to the APRA Regulatory Reporting CoE teams apart from various BUs.
You will also be responsible with the following:
Ensure quality and timely analysis, finalization, and delivery of returns to various regulators
Ensure appropriate controls and efficient processes are in place to support the quality production of returns
Review Regulatory returns for quality, standardization, and accuracy
Ensure compliance with ANZ policies and processes
Support audit/APRA requests and queries, and are responded to on a timely basis
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders (onshore Financial Control teams)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
CA, ICWAI, CPA or equivalent qualified with solid working knowledge of financial control within a financial services environment
Strong background in preparing and finalising returns and experience in Banking / Financial Services Industry is preferable
Background in auditing and accounting practices is highly desirable
Understanding of IFRS and PeopleSoft knowledge preferable.
Strong analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail with ability to work in a team and proactively contribute ideas to continuously improve team performance
Continuously seeking out new, different and simplified ways of doing things
