Your Opportunity:
As a Finance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for strategic collaboration with the country leadership team and senior managers in delivering critical financial decisions for the business. Your key area of focus includes management of P&L, performance reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, liaising with regional shared services team and providing expert finance support to the business. Furthermore, this role also has responsibilities of development and execution of short and long-term plans for business, improvement and recommendation of process & cost initiatives, involvement in diverse range of projects and overall contribution for maximizing profitability.
Your Team:
You will report to the Head of Finance, APAC and work alongside experienced, passionate and enthusiastic team, committed to providing the very best service to the organization. More broadly you will be working as part of Philips Philippines, and have daily interactions with internal stakeholders across the business, both locally and regionally.
About You:
To be successful in this opportunity, we are seeking individuals who are:
CPA/CA qualified
8 + years of progressive finance experience, working with financial control, management accounting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment
Knowledge in project accounting and able to work independently
Confident communicator adapt at interpreting complex financial data and presenting to non-finance stakeholder
Hands on SAP, MS Excel (advanced) and MS PowerPoint experience
Experienced with matrix organizations and virtual teams
Demonstrated ability to improve reporting systems and processes while providing commercial awareness and profitability
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a strong drive for positive change
Job Scope:
Sign off the financials of the commercial organization (ORU)
Drive decisions project assessments and supportive in financing solutions.
Drive analysis of business performance: sales, pricing, margin, credit management and costs (incl. Advertising & Marketing spend), Identifying, addressing and tracking of business issues
Business integrity: adherence to FCPA and GBP in coop. with Legal & HR
Enabling functions supervisory responsibility: control actual expenses, recharge hosted heads ensuring SLA structure is in place, performing true-ups according to contractual agreements, planning future costs and preparing tax back-up documentation for external costs
project accounting understanding, knowledge of tax implications of different financing solutions, contract law basic knowledge
Acts as finance manager covering internal control and financial and statutory responsibility and treasury
Representation role to 3rd parties: Bank, fiscal, auditors, customers and suppliers.
Contribute to regional and country Finance team to enhance performance. To drive and grow business value in the market by setting and achieving financial and strategic targets.
To own and manage the strategic and operational (business / financial) planning process and performance management within the commercial organization and drives for the delivery of the committed results.
