WHAT IS FINANCIAL ANALYST Our awesome client, a leading pool services company based in Australia is looking for a Financial Analyst to be part of their Finance Team. the analysis of international expansion opportunities for the client business building and maintaining various financial models in excel analysis and reporting facilitating Global expansion meetings and support for related work streams WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Ownership of various internal and external business models, including acting as a key business resource for support in model use. Market Research and Analysis - conduct comprehensive research and provide high level reporting documentation on global expansion opportunities, including the assessment of market opportunities, legislative regulations, industry compliance standards, taxation & labour laws. Acquisition Analysis - research, identify, analyse and recommend strategic actions regarding international business acquisition opportunities. Undertake comprehensive legal & financial due diligence, valuation assessment, financial modelling, and risk analysis processes on recommended acquisitions. Provide high level reports and presentations to the SLT as required. Business Systems Analysis - identify internal process efficiency improvements at Satellite Office including workflow systems, working procedures and business functions. Conduct effective mapping and process flow diagnostics against industry best practice. Recommend and implement approved efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Franchise Partner Business Analysis - provide valuable information and reporting to Franchise Partners on financial performance and profitability, including benchmarking metrics, best practice efficiencies and recommendations for improvement. Risk Analysis / Management - assist in the identification and mitigation of business risks including internal controls / authority levels, corporate governance standards, insurance cover, corporate reporting requirements, major incidents / public relations management. Project Management - undertake nominated additional projects as directed by the Global CFO WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR 3 years' experience in Corporate Finance, including building financial models Sound knowledge on Business Planning, Financial Planning and Legal / Regulatory Interpretation Sound knowledge and experience with Change Management and Project Management strategy Experience working on international business projects Ability to maintain strict confidentiality CPA or CA qualified Advanced research and analytical skills Advanced technology, reporting and presentation skills, including VBA Ability to work autonomously, display initiative, multi task and to think conceptually. Advanced communication skills (verbal & written)
