Responsible for monthly tax compliance computation and analyzation with supporting schedule submitted by the staff.
Assisting the staff on properly recording journal transaction in books of accounts.
Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance and other reports related to financial statement.
Assisting the senior corporate accountant, summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss and other statements.
Gives advice to the management regarding the tax impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
Identify or sorting tax savings in prospective acquisition scenarios.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Conduct research, analysis, development and summarization of financial information for audit purposes and financial,
Interacts with the external auditor in completing audits.
Perform other functions as may be directed by the Finance Manager and General Manager
Qualifications:
A graduate of BS Accountancy course, preferably CPA, but not required
At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
Able to speak English and Filipino fluently
Knowledgeable in Taxation and Government Statutory Compliance
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Knowledgeable in BIR Rulings and all updates and amendment rulings from time to time.
Self-motivated and have ability to work independently and autonomously
Deadline oriented in effective time management skills with ability to manage priorities to meet strict deadlines.
Must be computer literate
Candidate must have a good grasps/understanding of full accounting cycle and business and financial reporting standards.
Applicants must be willing to work on field as needed.
