Who are we looking for?
Air Accounting is always looking to add members to our fast growing team of dynamic, intelligent and caring people. We are looking for a Financial Accountant who will join our airCFO team working on the CFO Reporting & Forecasting work for our portfolio of fast-growing Australian businesses.
What does your day to day look like?
Prepare CFO Reports independently, including:
Calculating and processing month-end adjusting journals;
Processing Custom Tasks as part of 'month end' tasks;
Identifying and investigating monthly variances;
Identifying and drafting appropriate commentary
Ensure all workpapers are completed each month and accurately prepared;
Identify, recommend and prepare custom boards to be included in CFO Reports.
Prepare 3-way forecasts with minimal input from direct report;
Identify appropriate business drivers to be included when preparing forecasting and reporting;
Assist with other adhoc CFO advisory work items where required
What you will need to succeed?
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Australian businesses
Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Excel
Xero certified advisor
Basic understanding of Australian taxation concepts
Understanding of Australian Accounting Standards
