Job Descriptions:
Supervise the accurate completion of day-to-day functions of the Financial and Accounting Department
Ensures timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of financial reports to the management.
Ensures the validity and propriety of all transactions recorded in the books of accounts (General Ledger, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Cash Management etc.)
Verifies all documents prepared by the Accounting officers such as cash vouchers, vouchers payable, cash receipt vouchers, adjustment memos, and petty cash replenishment
Perform cost analysis and recommend process improvements for cost-effectiveness.
Address financial issues and inquiries from internal and external customers.
Perform necessary variance and other accounting analysis to identify and resolve any discrepancies or gaps.
Prepares monthly bank reconciliation, accrual, and provision of expenses.
Checks reports on tax return, government reports such as VAT, Alphalist, SSS, Pag ibig, PEZA and other required reports .
Responsible for the safekeeping of important company documents entrusted to the department.
Develop best practices to enhance operational performance and productivity.
Qualifications
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Must have more than 3 years of work experience as a Finance Supervisor in the construction industry.
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Knowledge of financial regulations and financial software
Sharp time management skills
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
