Responsible for processing basic and routine finance function related but not limited to General Accounting duties
Primary Responsibilities
Document and update processes done in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures
Ensure policies are followed and refer/escalate where appropriate
Comply on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain an efficient, effective working relationship with stakeholders as applicable
Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests in accordance with the service standards set.
Resolve escalated complaints in a timely fashion
Process all task related to periodic end accounting procedures and accomplish all reports as required (weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly, annual reports as needed)
Create data entries in the sub-ledger system, extracting statistical data and reports from records for analysis.
Properly assess completeness of documents received and provide solutions if incomplete
Other tasks as assigned
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Competencies/Skills
Proficient in using electronic spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation
Above average verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work on a local and global team
Preferred Experience
Open to fresh graduates
At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role
Preferably with insurance experience
Preferred Knowledge
Basic knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and practices
Basic knowledge of General Accounting and Financial Processes
Preferred basic knowledge of Insurance
