Based in Manila or Cebu and reporting to the GSSC Enterprise Services - Finance Team Lead for Tax.
This role will assist the TL and the Finance Services Operations Manager - Tax (OM) in ensuring that QBE's compliance and reporting obligations in relation to Transfer Pricing (TP) policies and any other international tax concerns for the QBE global business and divisions, including but not limited to, Group Division, Australia Pacific (AusPac) division, International - European Operations (EO) division, etc.. Tasks include, but not limited to, compliance reports, documentations and/or ad-hoc work servicing the QBE's TP and international tax concerns.
Act as main preparer role on various TP and/or international tax tasks.
Prepare reports for the Group and divisions in line with the requirements by the guidelines set by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Australian Tax Office (ATO) and/or specific local tax authorities of an entity within QBE global business, including, but not limited to, the following:
o Preparation/rollforward of TP Master files and divisional transfer pricing documentation;
o Preparation/rollforward of local files per country/jurisdiction;
o Researching on and analyzing various market and industry parameters that affects the business, including the pricing of intercompany transactions of QBE's associated entities (as necessary);
o Reconciliation of various internal and external reports of the Group and aligning with the requirements of specific regulatory bodies (i.e., ATO, various tax authorities, etc.);
o Prepare TP reports in line with the deadlines set by our onshore partners and/or the corresponding regulatory bodies;
o Review comments for outstanding items and undertake the required action;
o Follow-up resolution of outstanding items with counterparts.
Assist the Sr. Analyst / Team Leader in the resolution of any outstanding tax matters based on the variance investigation/analysis
Liaise and manage onshore stakeholders and report status for any outstanding tasks.
