Responsible for processing, analysing financial vs plan reports through expense management and management reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
Align knowledge strategy with business needs
Assist in process design, development, implementation related to finance tasks
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Ensure all processes are documented in standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
Contribute to the refinement and identify improvement areas of current processes to enhance shared services transactions assigned to the operating function
Ensure compliance to industry and company guidelines and policies and referred/escalated where appropriate
Maintain a good internal stakeholder relationship
Resolve escalated issues/complaints in a timely fashion
Perform all tasks related to Actuals, Plan, & Re-Forecast analyses and accomplish all reports as required (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually reports)
Assist the Finance Services Senior Analyst in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly QBE NA Executive binder/reports
Support ad hoc requests in addition to primary responsibilities
Other tasks as assigned
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
2 years relevant experience
Preferred Competencies/Skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including financial modelling
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
Effective analytical, and time management skills
Ability to work on a global team
Attention to detail
Preferred Knowledge
Basic understanding of products and concepts relating to the financial services industry, including financial management principles
Advanced knowledge of Management Accounting principles and practices, and reporting of financial data
Advanced working knowledge of financial processes, procedures, solutions and best practices
