Finance Operations Manager - Philippines (Telcoin Corp.)
Telcoin is a consumer finance company focused on providing customers with low cost, high quality financial services via blockchain technology, legacy banking, and mobile financial services infrastructure.
We are a team of telecom executives, start-up veterans, finance professionals, all-star developers, and blockchain specialists looking for a full-time Financial Operations Manager in the Philippines. Our ideal candidate is at the forefront of the ever-evolving fintech and blockchain regulatory landscape in the Philippines, and will ensure Telcoin's continued status as a licensed financial institution.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the financial operations of Telcoin Corp. internally and with its partners and customers.
Develop financial and administrative processes and controls to ensure accuracy and the proper management of company funds.
Coach and recommends senior management on finance related issues and risk
Participate in meetings and consultations for finance management requirements
Should have a keen eye in the monitoring financial transactions and to be able to spot suspicious activities.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies, procedures, and programs that mitigate risk for Telcoin and our customers.
Communicate with SEC, BSP and other government entities as required to keep the company in good regulatory standing.
Assist in the payment of government benefits like SSS, PHIC and HDMF.
Prepare financial reports, budget, payroll, payment requests, and invoices.
Ensure timely and accurate distribution of salaries and bonuses.
Required experience and competencies:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking and Human Resource Management.
5+ years of previous work experience in finance, accounting, and tax preferably at a bank or regulated financial technology (FinTech) institution.
Deep understanding of the local financial services in the regulatory environment
Fluent English, possessing superior communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
You can demonstrate your attention to detail, being able to quickly move your focus and multi task.
Excellent financial analysis skills, database and worksheet management skills.
Team player and should be flexible in work functions.
Experience working in a past faced start-up company and you enjoy it.
You'll have an edge over the competition if:
You are a CPA.
You possess specific knowledge of the remittance industry.
You have experience working at/with BSP and at any FINTECH company.
You should be ready to work full time as soon as possible.
Location: Taguig, Philippines
Pay: Competitive, dependent upon experience, with performance bonuses and other incentives possible.
