Role Finance & Operations Associate The Finance & Operations Specialist shall be responsible for monitoring and controlling all compliance aspects related to the financial and business operations activities. With the key role to be responsible for monitoring the project finance, MIS, budgeting, additional activities include monitoring the performance, productivity, efficiency of the operations and finance areas through the provision of effective and timely feedback, methods, processes, and strategies. Will be responsible for monitoring routine office operations pertaining to financial (Administrative Services, Accounting support etc). Willbe responsible for consistency, quality, and compliance with Thakral One policies and procedures as well as applicable laws/regulations the business and service related functions within Finance and Operations team. To coordinate with the respective business units within the company for smooth office operations and activities. Summary Prepare Budget Forecast across Company, projects, divisions, etc. Monitor planned vs actuals for changes across cost, revenue, headcount, other factors and provide detailed analysis. Preparation of monthly/weekly performance reports for projects, divisions, resources, units, etc Monitoring and setting control environment for the revenue and margin management. Review and identify potential risks, raise for discussion/action to management team as required. Work closely with Project Managers to understand key drivers impacting project performance and contract terms for fees, timeline, resource pool etc. Work with sales team to review the commercial proposals, delivery models to rationalize. Role Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analysis Prepare the organization's revenue, expenses, cash flow, reporting and analysis thereof. Preparation of cost-benefit analysis together with HQ support for projects across business units to improve cash flow and revenue. Budget Management Preparation of monthly and weekly performance reports and project forecasts. Identify and assist with the implementation of enhancements to the financial reporting process. Identify the need for new reports (i.e. profitability), assist to design build and implement the new reports. Organizational Efficiency Work with cross functional teams and coordinate across departments or BUs to meet internal and external deadlines. Ensure that financial and shareholder reports are submitted according to specific guidelines. Identifying cost-saving opportunities at the organizational level. Identifying bottlenecks, areas for improvement and developing quick solutions to prevent project delays. Constant communication and collaboration with both the project members and stakeholders. Presenting findings and status of projects to stakeholders and effectively communicating between teams and departments. Communicate goals and expectations to project team members and share progress, seeking advice from leadership. Documenting business processes and workflows. Qualifications Educational Background Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration. Work Experience At least 3 years of related work experience in financial planning and analysis, financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, Reporting. Specific Experience Required: working with multi-cultural team across different functions, management and stakeholders, IT and legal departments, external suppliers/customers/shared service center. Industry knowledge: strong knowledge or experience of IT industry operations across different domains. At least 3 years of related experience including solid understanding of financial reporting, operations management skills and a proven ability to collaborate across functions within an organization. Skills & Competencies Technical skills: Proficiency in analysis, reconciliations, due diligence, problem solving, advanced excel skills. Preferably with experience using MS Navision or MS Dynamics NAV. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills. Ability to articulate analysis, forecasts and translate it to action plans across different levels in the organization. Proven ability to work and collaborate across different functions within a multicultural organization. Ability to effectively translate business process steps to technology use cases and requirements Proven ability to lead by example and build a reputation as a pragmatic problem solver who organization. Enable decision making by effectively analyzing business drivers and constraints and present alternative solutions to address problems and opportunities. Proven problem solving and business/financial analysis skills, creative and resourceful in identifying issues Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a sense of urgency. Demonstrates ability to coordinate complex processes and projects. Possesses strong ability to draft financial reporting narratives. Number of Vacancies 1 (Hybrid)
