JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY - MAIN AREA’S OF RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 
Residual PTP Activities:
- Coordination with local vendors, company commercial teams and GIS 'Procure to Pay' team on billing and payment, as well as on issue resolution
- Creation of finance-related purchase orders after obtaining the email approval from Viatris Controllers
- Check completeness, scanning, and archiving of hard copy billings and official receipts from vendors including requesting to hold payments until the vendor complies with the company policy
- Manual preparation of 2307, as necessary
 
Residual Treasury Activities:
- Local Bank Management: Daily communication and collaboration with local banks for issues related to signatures, opening of forex accounts, web-banking, and other issues with payments; work with GIS Treasury and local bank to update bank signatories
- Cash monitoring, monthly payment of importations, credit card administration, bank related requirements administration, check releasing, bank approval and signatories. Ensure complete and proper documentation of foreign currency settlements
- Timely bank statement run
- Ensure sufficient funding and timely payment of duties and taxes
- Coordination with GIS treasury for the creation of collection receipt/ official receipt
- To take responsibility for the day-to-day tasks required/ ad hoc activities

Role Description:
The Finance Associate shall handle residual activities of PTP and Treasury.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Preferably a CPA but not required
- At least 3-5 years' work-related experience preferably in Accounting and Tax 
- Preferably knowledgeable on both US and local GAAP
- Proficient in Financial System and Office Application Software
- Excellent in planning and organizing skills
- Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, time and records management
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have good time management skills
- Willing to work on site in BGC, Taguig
