Job Description
The Role
This role will be reporting to the Finance Manager. He/She will be responsible for the processing of the payables and inter-company reconciliations. The Finance Officer will also assist the Finance Manager in preparation of the budget and other management reports, just as required.
Prepare and process accounting transactions such as disbursement including bank payment uploading, general ledger entries, intercompany reconciliation and others which are in accordance with company's processes and generally applied accounting principles
Maintain accurate bank records of cash withdrawals and deposits or credits.
Ensure timely submission of monthly report requests and reconciliations.
Assist the Finance Manager in tax reporting, budget preparation and other financial reports required
Support the Operations Department in billing or invoicing as needed
Other ad hoc activities as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting field
Experience working for Logistics industry is preferred but not required.
Has excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Must be keen with details and possess time management skills.
Has strong work ethics and ability to manage confidential data
