Job Description
We are looking to hire a financial manager to analyze market trends and various business opportunities from a financial perspective. To excel in this role you should have an analytical mind and a keen understanding of how a business works in the real world not just on paper.
Task:
Experience in preparation of PH accounts
Dealing with local regulators (PEZA, BIR, etc.)
Managed deadlines
Oversee the operations of the accounting department
Ensure all accounting activity is recorded in a timely manner (for example Payroll, AP, AR, FX, regular Bank & balance sheet reconciliations)
Maintain the chart of accounts
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
Issue timely and complete Management Information including comparatives against prior periods, budget, forecast & variance analysis
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
Review VAT/ Corporation Tax Returns
Coordinate legal entity audits including timing, liaison with Audit Managers & provision of information to support the audit
Manage cash flow, the appointment of bank signatories, and ensure compliance with bank covenants
Comply with all relevant reporting requirements and tax filings
Responsible for the filing of all (for example monthly, quarterly) returns with all relevant jurisdictions (for example, Companies House, Securities, and Exchange Commission, BIR, etc.)
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum 6 years of experience with 2 years of people management skill
