Y Hotels and Resorts Group Inc, A company engaged in establishments, operation and management of lodging and dining places is currently in need of an Accounting Manager who will oversee the daily accounting operations and the overall financial management of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be in charge of accounting operations, making sure company objectives are achieved by developing and creating accounting policies and procedures through strategic planning and review; performing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing changes.
Meet accounting objectives through monitoring of budgets; forecasting and monitoring expenditures; analyzing variances; so as to make sure proper actions are taken.
Prepare reports for financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
Safeguard the company by determining legal challenges; practice proper accounting regulations and improve existing accounting procedures.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Generate weekly and monthly accounting reports for the management.
Assign task and direct accounting subordinates, so as to ensure operational needs is met.
Manage and oversee functions of account payables/receivable, audit, payroll, treasury, budgeting, revenue, variance analysis and other related accounting operations.
Qualifications:
Must possess a bachelor's degree in accountancy
Possession of Certified Public Accountant License is required for the position
Advance skill in spreadsheet and accounting databases or software
Proven track record of success in the field of accounting for at least five (5) years in management
Exceptional details attention to details and accuracy
Strong sense for budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills
