An attractive Finance Controller job has just become available at a global business process outsourcing company based in BGC, Taguig.
About the Finance Controller Role:
In this role, you will manage the Philippines entities' Finance and Accounting functions while partnering with the US management to drive value through financial oversight and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Philippines entities' financial accounting operation (i.e. AP, AR, Treasury, GL and Month-end Close Process, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Statutory Reporting, T&E Monitoring, Financial Systems, Tax, Payroll, Internal Controls)
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and analysis for management and statutory reporting
Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data
Manage cash flow process and related accounting for PH, including weekly payroll and vendor payments
Oversee monthly billing process for all service lines
Prepare the Philippines entities' annual budget and forecast and provide updated projections throughout the year
Handle Regulatory Audits (i.e. BIR, PEZA, SEC, Local Government Units, etc.) and review of Company's compliance with existing transfer pricing laws and regulations
Review and approve reporting requirements for Income Tax Holiday Validation, ITH Extensions and VAT Zero-rating with PEZA
Prepare and implement Finance and Accounting policies including evaluation and managing continuous improvement and operational excellence governance for the end-to-end Finance value chain
Lead the professional and personal learning development of the Finance and Accounting Team in the Philippines through continuous Planning, Goal setting, Coaching, Dialogue and Mentoring
Build strong relationships with the stakeholders, providing them with full support
This Finance Controller role requires you to have at least seven years of managerial accounting and/or financial management experience.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA and/or CMA is preferred but not required
Extensive experience with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
Experience managing multiple teams and workflows
Experience in a large multinational organisation
Proactive communicator with ability to tailor messaging to wide ranging audience (admin, staff, executive, etc.)
Ability to clearly define and communicate strategy, plan and results
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time
Flexible work schedule due to US operations
