Finance/Accounting
Enter invoices and complete statement reconciliations for all suppliers.
Raising Purchase Orders
Create draft invoices for internal and external clients.
Manage invoices and ensure invoices are accurate and issued immediately.
Follow up collection of invoices, allocation of payments for internal and external clients.
Reconcile client accounts.
Assist with performing credit checks on prospects and reporting to management
Reporting
Generate weekly/monthly reports from Xero.
Create and maintain cash flow projections using Excel.
Ad Hoc reports as requested by clients or management.
Royalty Reports
Inventory Management
Be able to set up a client on Xero (Cloud based accounting software) - including but not limited to, chart of accounts, bank feeds, historical data, conversion balances.
Admin
Logistics: organising stock movements from warehouses
Client liaison
Booking couriers
QC test discs for our Film and TV division
Handling website orders.
Updating website etc.
Others
Communicate effectively with team, expressing opinions, ideas, and solutions in writing and verbally to achieve the best outcome.
Research and resolve issues when they arise.
Knowledge of the Firm's structure, policy, and procedures.
Demonstrate self-checking skill, taking responsibility for ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or relevant subjects with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.
Excellent attention to detail, to ensure accuracy in financial records and the ability to manage competing responsibilities and identify any errors to be addressed.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks, including ability to work under pressure with competing work demands and to tight deadlines.
Effective interpersonal style including demonstrated sense of discretion, judgment and sensitivity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong work ethic to get the job done.
Well versed and proficient in tax preparation of Individuals and all entity tax returns.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently under broad supervision, as well as ability to work well in a team to achieve results.
Flexibility to manage a wide variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Xero certified (good to have)
MYOB / Quickbooks (good to have)
Highly computer literate
Highly knowledgeable in MS Excel (Pivot table; V-look Up)
