FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER

As a Finance and Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will oversee all aspects of financial and accounting operations, manage a team of professionals, and collaborate with various departments to drive financial success. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and a proven track record in financial management.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to provide insights to senior management.
Monitor key financial metrics and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Accounting and Reporting:
Oversee the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.
Set clear goals and expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and mentoring.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the department.
Financial Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
Manage internal and external audits, liaising with auditors as needed.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls and processes.
Cash Management:
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs.
Manage banking relationships, including credit facilities and investments.
Optimize working capital and cash conversion cycle.
Financial Systems and Technology:
Evaluate financial software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
Financial Strategy and Decision Support:
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with senior management to assess investment opportunities and potential risks.
CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA  preferred.
Proven experience in finance and accounting management roles, with a minimum of 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
