About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team, reporting to our Finance Manager. This role will serve as a trainee role across the whole team where you will be exposed to Finance Operations, Reporting, Analysis, and other functions under the Finance Team.
Performance Objectives
To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance Team with tasks related to:
Financial Reporting and Controls * Month-end - performing reconciliations, journal entries, GL ledger reports related to month-end processes
Bank reconciliations - ensuring that all transactions are recorded including the posting of customer repayments
Payments - recording of invoices received from suppliers to ensure on-time payment to stakeholders
Taxes and compliance - conducting administrative work related to compliance and/or regulatory requirements, and assisting in the preparation of reports to SEC and BIR
Audit - assisting in quarterly and yearly audits
Characteristics of a great candidate
Don't worry if you don't yet meet all of them to a high standard, we will put in place a path for you to continuously learn and get better.
Have at least 1-2 years related work experience; Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
Have a Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or related courses (CPA is a plus)
Financial system ERP experience advantageous (particularly SAP by Design)
Knowledgeable in Excel and could easily adapt to using multiple tools
Have the ability to connect different disciplines into understanding and analyzing business processes
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Have a high sense of urgency and work ethics
Have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple customer requests at the same time
Have proven professional integrity and could be trusted with highly confidential information
Easily adaptive and be motivated by learning in a high-growth environment
Preferably lives within Metro Manila
