Job Description:
Accounting and Reporting
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Local Statutory Requirements.
Handles filings/reporting/payment requirements to SEC, ensuring that all regulatory reports are filed and/or paid on or before due date.
Provide financial information required by management, external auditors and various government regulatory bodies. Standard reports to deliver include schedules and reports to SEC, Financial Controls Team and Investments Team.
Prepares daily accrual set-up, posting of approved journal entries ensuring that such are recorded accurately and in accordance with the prescribed monthly cut-off.
Support to Company's Initiatives
Participate in the system enhancements, process documentation/improvements and preparation of requirements for new products.
Administrative Functions
Organize and maintain filing/monitoring of all documents submitted to Securities and Exchange Commission, in hard copies and scanned copies.
Manages inquiry from the internal stakeholders, auditors and regulators related to the assigned tasks.
Internal Controls and Internal Audit
Ensures appropriate controls are performed in the preparation of financial reports before submission to internal and external stakeholders.
Documents the processes and procedures involving all reports preparation.
Regular review and update of existing guidelines, processes and procedures to effect necessary changes/improvements.
Participate in the preparation of audit requirements for internal auditors.
