The Category Specialist is an expert in the merchandising, pricing management, marketing, and sales of fresh and/or other local products for Honest Farms the Organic Farming Business of Healty Options. With your in-depth knowledge of the category you will drive the pricing, shelving, marketing and promotions of the category to make them visible, accessible, and appealing to customers.
You will contribute to the profitability and growth of the business by increasing the volume of products that are sold and improving its turnover rate.
To be successful, the Category Specialist must have a working knowledge of the products, consumer needs, buying practices, sales goals, and the retail environment related to the category.
BS Agricultural Business Management, BS Agricultural Economics, BS Agriculture, BS Business Administration or related degrees
With relevant experience in financial analysis & inventory control. Sales and marketing, including merchandising theories and practical application for fresh and meat section in the retail environment
