EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
-Performing daily export control business operation considering German, EU and U.S. export control legal requirements
-Execute SAP's export compliance processes, such as business partner screening, sanctioned party list screening, business partner classification
-Processing of material & product classification (ECCN) requests
-Closely coordinating and communicating with internal key stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Development, Delivery Units
-Close collaboration with sub-IT department to jointly work business requirements & issue resolution
-Driving for continuous improvement of existing processes, policies, guidelines and other documentation, including roll-out and knowledge transfer
-Contributing to Project Management work, e.g. implementation of legal changes and respective adjustments in SAP's Export Control Compliance systems
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
-Bachelor/ master's degree in business and law, international business, or equivalent education
-Great analytical, communication and writing skills
-Proven and demonstrated ability to present a complex issue to senior management
-High quality awareness and process-oriented thinking and acting
-Willingness and ability to work in a compliance function to fulfill corporate requirements
-Ability to work as an individual contributor and closely collaborate across teams and cultures
-Very good network builder and f
luent Business English
WORK EXPERIENCE
-3+ years of professional experience
-Experience in export control / foreign trade environment topics and systems such as SAP ERP, CRM, BPS
-International working experience would be an asset due to our collaboration with multi-national teams
