What We Need
Our Accounting department is growing and we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will assist with overall accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, sales tax, and payment imports. This role will also own our collections process communicating via phone and email directly with vendors and customers to collect and close out past due invoices. As well as, processing and paying our monthly/quarterly/annual state and local sales tax requirements.
Additionally, this will include extensive work in Excel and Quickbooks. Importing/Exporting data from multiple systems and combining them for financial review. Expertise in Microsoft Excel and its functions, primarily VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other formulas is imperative. Also working knowledge of Quickbooks and general accounting functions.
Most importantly, we need someone who sees roadblocks as stepping stones and who is self-driven to solve complex problems with little input from management. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
If you are an accomplished Bookkeeper with the following skills and experience we want to hear from you:
Excellent written and verbal English skills - must be comfortable making outbound phone calls and communicating with a US audience
Advanced Excel - experience with Vlookup, functions, pivot tables, and formulas
An Own It outlook - you will be tasked with complicated tasks and expected to use your critical thinking skills and all available resources to find solutions
General Accounting Knowledge and at least 1-3 years experience in an accounting related function
Experience with Quickbooks and US state taxes is preferred but not required
We are a US-based company and you must be able to work US Pacific hours 6am-4pm, Monday - Friday
You must have a modern computer that meets the below specs and consistent minimum internet speeds of 8Mbps.

Compensation
$41,000-$46,000 monthly depending on your experience
1 Paid day per Quarter to Volunteer
10 vacation days (increases each year with tenure) plus all Major Holidays
NO commute - we are a US based company and work US PST shifts
